3 Reasons You Should Check Out The Career Ramblings Blog

Not all blogs are necessarily about making money online. Career Ramblings is about Career Development. This is a great place for advice about advancing your career, entrepreneurship, and other income ideas.

Here are 3 reasons you should check out Career Ramblings:

First, if you are soon to get out of school, you will find great advice for setting out on that new career.

You will find many handy tips that you may not have gotten in school but should have. Check out the following post about the importance of getting work experience.

But the reality is, it’s hard to really know how well you’ll take to a specific career field without actually experiencing it.

Work experience such as part-time jobs, volunteer work, etc. allows you to experience the working world and develop skills that cannot be fully realized in the classroom, such as customer service, teamwork, and management and organization. Employers look for these skills in potential hires.

Of course, if you are out of work, a second reason to visit Career Ramblings would be to get some very good advice on your resume and searching for a job.

There are many posts on upgrading those resumes, but I think the following post on cover letters to get it read may be just as important. It does no good to have a great resume and not have it noticed by the people that matter.

Let go of waiting and hoping.  These four secrets when applied strategically will land you more interviews that bring results! Take charge of your career today by asking for (and getting) what you want.

There is at least a final third reason to check out Career Ramblings, if not more.

They have many great posts about starting a new business. Not just online type businesses, but a typical brick and mortar business where you need to find financing. Take the following post about business proposals.

    Some Key things to consider:

    • Proposals are written offers to solve problems, provide services, or sell equipment as mentioned above.
    • A Request For Proposal is most often known as a RFP for short.

There are many other posts with good advice on Career Development and you are sure to learn something.

Sometimes, it is those little things that make the difference between that dream position and the unemployment line. Even, if you are not currently looking for a job, it might be a good idea to update your resume with some of the advice given. Job security is not what it used to be.

Career Ramblings is offering a backlink for doing a review of the site on your site. If you are interested, read the rules post for the review here.

Career Ramblings is the combined effort of John Anthony and Jane May.

Both of whom have an excellent, clear writing style. It is very well presented. Take a look, I'm sure it will become a site you will visit several times.
