Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday, I like to share this day with my girlfriend. Always, I give her valentines roses

Damn, that would have been very embarrasing for you and I understand why your wife had said to not to give anything on Valentine’s Day, she was angry at that time to be honest. But if you go by her first reaction to that gift, you said she was really happy! That says a lot…no wonder she wants to save you some money but deep down her heart she does want you to pamper her and show your love on Valentine’s Day. So I would say….do give her roses next time too but yes this time do check if they’re real or fake. OR the best gift you can give to her is to spend your whole day with her…or maybe take an early off from work and go out spend some time together…dinner etc…that can be a very big gift to your wife as well i.e. your attention, love and time.

Giving with a sincere and loving heart is more important than the gift itself. I definitely agree with free picnic table plan’s comment about giving with love being given with love being priceless.

I dint get you logic of giving your wife a bouquet of just two flowers. You should have given a single rose or a group of flowers. But why just 2?

Like to know you not discouraged, Roses are best way of expressing your feelings, keep it up.

I thought that you’re not supposed to give even numbers of flowers. So 1,3,5 is a fair game but 2 or 4 not so much. Don’t know if this is still true though.

My wife tells me never to buy her anything too, obviously I can’tignore that completely
