AdSense announced new features coming soon.
You will soon not need to paste new AdSense code to do things like change color.
Ever paste AdSense code into your site and discover it was the wrong color? Then you would have to go through and do it again?
You will be able to change things like color and border without having to repaste the code in your site. You will be able to do it directly from the site the AdSense manager.
Visit the Adsense blog and read for yourself.
This new ad management feature means that your ad unit settings (such as colors and channels) for new AdSense for content ad units will be saved in your AdSense account every time you generate ad code. Then, if you’d like to change any of these settings in the future, all you do is make the update within your account — you’ll no longer need to manually replace the ad code on all of your pages. For instance, you can quickly change the borders of all your 300×250 medium rectangles from red to blue with just a few mouse clicks. Fancy! We hope that this new feature will help you save time and will simplify the process of optimizing your ad units.
Inside AdSense: Coming soon: Make ad changes without replacing code
After reading it once, my first question was what if I only want to change the ads on one site?
After reading again, it looks like you will be able to use channels to specify which ads are changed.
I still wonder if it will possible to change the entire ad size.
Or maybe, switch to text only ads from picture ads.
I guess we’ll have to wait till it is released to find out.

I think I will give up on the google adsense ads at eWritings. It’s true they bring in some decent revenue, but not enough to justify cluttering the blog. This, or finding a different way to display them. I find my blog too heavy, if you know what I mean.
About changing the color… I never had a problem with that. I always changed it manually directly in the adsense code and it worked pretty good.
You could probably find a way to incorporate it with out cluttering. You’re site is very pretty, I think it blends fairly good right now.
This site will soon be undergoing a major renovation. Some of those changes will be subtle and others will be under the skin, but it will be a major change.
Thanks as always for your comments. They are greatly appreciated.
