Thank you Louise. I do know some experienced internet marketers who have tested the theory. info’s do seem to be ranked lower by SE’s.

I’m not sure that I buy the thesis that it is bad to have a .info domain. Yes, .com’s are going to have a lower percentage of spammy sites but that’s because there are so many of them.

However, you may be onto something with regards to the Aksimet spam filter- it does tend to throw a wide, indiscriminate net.
