Perhaps it’s about time.
I have been meaning to add either or both the DoFollow and Top Commentator plugins for a long time.
I have liked the Top Commentator plugin since I saw it. I think John Chow’s blog was the first place I saw it. It seemed like a cool idea. It does tend to create spammy comments sometimes. It does seem to promote more conversation.
The DoFollow plugin is just a great way to reward commentators for taking the time to comment.
It is always nice to get a link when you make a comment. It has just been a matter of time before I got around to installing them.
Yes, it is also a blatant attempt to increase comments.
I do believe that it is the community that makes a blog (after decent posts). It is the relationship that eventually makes you successful.


I’ve enabled do follow on my blog also. I think it’s a really great plugin and I haven’t regret it since.
