Google Adsense For Search Improved - Sort Of - Almost
Google recently annouced an improved AdSense for search.
After reading it on the AdSense blog I went and checked it out in my AdSense account. You have a had time believing this is not Photoshopped. It is a screen capture I made when it happened.
It is nice to know even someone that defines quality websites like Google can have problems too.
I'm not sure why the sample was messed up. Could it have been a browser glitch? I was using FireFox. Was Google's CSS messed up?
I know the improvement was in the way Search works not the look.
I still think it was pretty funny. Anyone else notice this happen when they announced it a while ago? I am sure it is fixed by now.

Maybe that is cause by your browser or some connection interruption. I've checked it and did not find the same CSS mess. I actually use the new adsense search in some of my blogs and I find the new design cool compare to previous adsense search. Good screenshot, you got a great snake eyes there.

I didn't see it either so it must have been a small glitch. I've put the new search up on one of my blogs and so far have been pleased. The first few days, however, the search wasn't turning up all of my pages because they weren't all indexed by Google. Although Google claims adding search for adsense won't help your indexing, I think it did because the results improved pretty quickly.

lol! I get a kick out of it when Google screws up too…because they are so hard on us…don't get me wrong…I love Google, but it does feel kinda nice to see that they are human too. Thanks for sharing.

That quite funny. I've never seen Google make a mistake like this.
Everyone makes mistakes. Google is pretty good at finding and responding to mistakes on their properties. Some of the best ones I've seen are the Google suggestions. Once in a while, Google will suggest something totally ridiculous when you do a normal search.
It seems like you are lucky enough to catch this google's glitch while they were updating the system or something like that.
Glitches like that stay live for about a minute max at Google before someone notices it.
I totally agree with "Lenen".
They have such a big system and few bugs can be generated but will be resolved in a day.
Google people have their highly qualified support staff who cares for their system 24*7 for 365 days.
I have been noticing more and more glitches recently with google. During halloween, they had a special link on their homepage that went to a special halloween site for google. Google always keeps their homepage very simple, but the one special link that they put on it was BROKEN for hours! I thought it was quite amusing, and good to know that google isn't ALWAYS all knowing and all powerful!
There is always room for improvement. Even at Google. It is the fool that stops improving on the formaula

Google should pay your for finding this glitch. With the hundreds of PHDs working on staff, they have no excuse. Their AdSense and AdWords programs comprise 95% of Google's income. They can't afford to screw this up.
Just a thought, I have higher CTR in my adsense for search than other adsense ad units lol
It looked like this for me one time but after refreshing everything came back to normal. I have no idea what caused it.
