Brett Favre has retired!
Being in Wisconsin, the Green Bay Packers are practically a religion. The retirement of Brett Favre is practically all that is one the radio or TV at the moment.
For Green Bay Packer fans the question is should the Packers tried harder to keep Favre for another year?
Coming so close to a Super Bowl, is now a right time to try and rebuild? Should they have tried to get Favre to go another year for a better chance at the Super Bowl in the coming season? These are all questions that will not really be answered till the coming season. One thing for sure is Brett Favre is someone that will be remembered by Green Bay fans for a long time.
Would you have retired after a fairly successful season like Brett Favre just had?
Perhaps he did not think the chances of redoing what the Packers did this your were not as good. Perhaps he was just tired of the stress of playing football. I guess the reason why is really up to Favre.
I am sure everyone wishes him the same success in the rest of his pursuits as he has had in the NFL.
My only question is why is his name spelled Favre and pronounced Farve?
I hate that he retired, although I am not a Packer fan I am a football fan. Anyone that watches football has to respect the guy. To me he is the greatest play maker of all time.
Not only that, but he seems to be a real great guy in person. Every time someone has who has met him in person calls a radio program, they always say that he was real down to earth and fun to talk to.
Its always a shame to see a man who plays the game in the right spirit retire
We have ESPN to thank for converting sports into a sad drama.

Doesn’t Brett retire annually? What he should do is really quit work and move over here to Thailand. He would live like a king.
