  • Windows Live Writer – I'm Giving It A Test

    1

A little bit ago, Darren at ProBlogger asked the following question:

If you had to choose 5 blogging tools that were the only ones you could use for the next 12 months what would they be and why?

Source: What are Your Top 5 Blogging Tools?

While there are so many WordPress plugins and other tools for blogging, one thing seemed to show up on many lists his subscribers made.

    Windows Live Writer

I honestly have not paid much attention to any of Windows Live.

I have a couple hotmail addresses that were constantly telling me I needed to try Live but I have just been to busy to pay any attention to much that has "beta" in it.

But, I had just tried the performacing extension for Firefox. It was ok, but not great. I was still looking for an inexpensive and flexible way to edit posts.

The default WYSIWIG editor in WordPress does not have h1, h2, h3 ect… tags and I have been increasingly annoyed by the ones I have added as plugins (they are not very reliable).

So, I am giving Windows Live Writer a try.

So far, I like it. I think it may be the solution I am looking for.
